Hi, Just another quick question, For anyone who has brought one of these pools do they come with a cover? I see you can purchase them seperately but before doing this I want to make sure it doesn't come with one. Thanks

We have this same pool but without the pump (paid about £15 in France) this is a very good price for the UK.

The pool is very tough and has taken some abuse from the kids

You can get the pool covers for a couple of quid in France and the chemicals for a fiver

We have a larger version of this type of pool in France, and sorry but I beg to differ about the cost of the pool covers, I think they are certainly more than a couple of quid to be honest, also you would be wise to invest in the solar cover it helps to heat up the pool and keep it warm. The chemicals are cheap in France! you can buy them in virtually any quantity, you wouldn't need much for a couple of weeks, but you could probably do with a Ph testing kit, quite cheap too. For the person who asked about ease of inflation, its a doddle provided you are not asthmatic or if you have a pump.

The supermarkets in France tend to sell this type of product in the Spring, by summer they usually have either, sold out or the prices have gone up, sorry I am not in France at the moment so don't know if they are in stock or not, but weatherwise it has been a grotty summer so far, so they may still be available at the moment. We will be back in three weeks if you would like any more info. This pool and pump is cheap at this price, the pump alone would cost a little more than this price for everything.

    Hope this helps someone. xx

I have one of the 10 foot bestway pools and i absolutely hate it.

We replaced a different design very large rectangle pool.

Our bestway one goes green REALLY quickly (much quicker than our old pool). The chemicals are really expensive, the bottom is hard to flattern out when you put it up on your own and the filter is totally ineffective IMHO.

Plus points........... erm........... apart from the problem flatterning the bottom the inflating the top is very quick.

Mine came with a cover but a really rubbish one.

I REALLY REALLY hate my pool - biggest waste of money ever (got mine on offer for under £20 last year in superdrug) BUT my friend has the 12 foot - they bought the full chemical pack for about £50 at the garden centre, they bought the solar cover and they love theres.

So its a really personal choice thing.

B & Q have cheap chemicals for pools the one priced at £17.98 is for 8 weeks we just need 8 weeks of sun to go with it.
  • I ordered the 18' pool @ £99 pounds, bargain I thought, that was on the 5th July, it still had not arrived nearly 2 weeks later, then on the 18th I got an email saying
"Unfortunately we are not apply to supply this due to an error on our stock system." and they offered a 15'. On the account info if was classified at "Backordered", so I declined the 15' and said I'll wait till they come in, Today I get an email that my order has been cancelled,
"Please accept our apologies, it is with regret that our warehouse has been unable to supply this item(s)."

Can I do anything, or is this a lost cause
