Cheaper alcohol versions ?
Being a MSE in all aspects of my life I am trying to find out if you can get cheaper versions of the following :
Jaegermeister
Malibu
Southern Comfort
Baileys
Pimms
I have a Tesco and a Lidl locally but sadly not an Aldi.
Any names / prices would be good !
Thanks
Richard

Lidl's jeeves is a great Pimms substitute.
There is a thread somewhere on here with loads of subs in it…I haven't tried the others, but Lidl's alcohol equivalents seemed to be voted positively.PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!0 -
Jeeves - haha.

If you happen to pass an Aldi on your travels:
The Aldi version Austins is very good. Was £5.99 a bottle last time I bought it.
The Aldi Bailey's looklike Ballycastle (or something like that) is fine. I don't drink it normally but bought a bottle for Christmas.0 -
What is Austins please mysteryme ?
I also found some fake Archers in Tesco called Peach Amore - £6.90 - bought but not tried yet !Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -

I like that, but it is less alcohol in.
I know Tesco have their own version of Pimms as well, but not sure what it's called. Never seen a Jaigermeister substitute though.0 -
I'm into lidl for their cheapie alternatives.
Their western gold is a good alternative to jack Daniels. Their Irish cream is good swap for baileys. Their Jeeves for pimms.
I remember buying a cheap version of jager but I can't remember where now. Either lidl or Tescos0 -
Asda do a cheaper version of Jager called Josef Meiers Liqueur its £12/70cl
( usually displayed next to the real thing )
also Asda's version of disaranno is lush"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
Home bargains also do a Pimms copy for £4.99, think its called oxford. Asda used to do a southern comfort copy, was very nice, called deep south.0

12 pounds for a litre, they still sell it.0 -
(Don't forget (particularly with liqueurs) to check if it is a 70 cl or just a 50 cl bottle.)0
