Hi
Perhaps should have posted on the 'freebie board' but does anyone know if there is a website for freebies/discounts to attractions specifically in Scotland.
Need to keep kids amused somehow during this great Scottish summer:D and was wondering if any other MSE members knew where I could get some freebies.
Things like Deep Sea world or zoo's would be great.:T

I've found the Tesco Deals vouchers are the best, you can get into plenty of places in Edinburgh/Glasgow at quarter of the normal price using the vouchers and they usually arrive within a week or request. There are plenty of free places to take kids to anyhoo, near Edinburgh there is Dalkeith Park which is brill, top of Arthurs Seat, cycle paths, just even a walk along the Water of Leith "looking for luckies" can be fun, so long as you put the effort in to try to make it a bit more exciting. Don't get me wrong, I like going to some of the bigger paid for places too but have honestly found that the kids get bored quickly and actually prefer old fashioned games so long as they're with their favourite people - i.e. mum or dad! Good luck (if you do find freebies, let me know!!!!)

Dundee does a passport to summer card every year which lets kids in free to swimming etc. with a fee paying adult- check your local council website to see if they have anything similar.
