Did your letter go to your local sorting/delivery office first?? (If so have they done a search there?)

(RM are not fast, took ages to process to the fee-card stage, when my sis sent a large letter within a regular stamp on it)

The letter has always been at the local delivery office.
The cards are issued from there

nope, it would have taken time from the original poster to get there:rotfl:

then it may have gone out to be re-delivered once the extra postage was paid,;).

so you don't know for sure, its just speculation.

the incompetent postie may have given it to someone else, or sometimes they chuck stuff in the bushes or the bin as they cant be bothered. these stories are always in the news, like the weird postie that hoarded it all at home.

    just saying

What has gone astray the returned (stamped) red-card back to RM or the letter being sent back out?
