Council tax band confusion

Hi everyone,
I have just started looking into the council tax band for our home. We are currently in band D.
This is not as straightforward as i expected.
Backstory:
Our street consists of council flats, one upstairs and one downstairs. We lived in a downstairs flat for about 9 years before we bought it off the council for a £30,000.
Our upstairs neighbours bought their flat aswell, They charged us £80,000 to buy the upstairs flat as they knew we had plans to turn them into a house.
Got all the planning permissions and 5 years ago we turned both flats into one 4 bedroom house.
Now, We are the only house terraced next to council flats.
So now, I do not know how to go about valuating our propery because in 1991 it was two flats.
Anyone that can help with this?

Any 4 bed council houses in the area, there'll definitely be a load of 3 beds. Look at the bands of both types, should give you an idea if the Band D is excessive. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
