UK economy forecast to return to pre-recession peak by summer

BCC director general John Longworth said: "Our economic recovery is gaining momentum. Businesses across the UK are expanding and creating jobs, and our increasingly sunny predictions for growth are a testament to their drive and ambition."
Bad news for recovery deniers.
Good news for everybody else.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

It's what I've been saying for over 6 months now ...... it's all coming up roses!

Good payrises, house prices storming ahead, unemployment dropping, retail sales up, sun shining, summer coming, sand sun and sex .... it's all getting better and better as each day passes!

Is this another sound bite straight out of the Labour manifesto, or do you have facts and figures to support your statement?

A lot of the places that are struggling are where the public sector are the biggest employers. But I've noticed that the traffic is getting busyier and train are getting fuller even in the north.

North, South, East and West ... the story is the same, there is the smell of pleasure in the air!!

Yes, of course, you will get those who would struggle even in the midst of a Gold Bonanza ....... they are simply too stupid, too lazy, too old or too sick to engage in the plentiful harvest.

I'm feeling good ..... money is coming in faster than it's going out, which is always a useful tactic to employ :D

  • Plenty of places with houses below 2007 peak still though the employment does seem to be picking up.
