Facebook Help Please

This may be somewhere, and I would be grateful to be directed to the answer if it is somewhere.

I just nearly (may still have) missed out on a facebook win. I wrongly assumed that the comp sponsors would notify winner by pm or at the least tagging them in the post. Apparently this is not the case. :mad:

Luckily a very very very kind stranger found me and tagged me so I could try and pm the sponsors to see if it was too late. :A

I know I have entered around a couple hundred fb comps in the last few weeks (at least it feels that way). HOW do other people manage checking the pages they entered on? I may not be asking that correctly.

I "like" 1000 pages, I cant possibly imagine looking through them every day. But is there a way to check that I am unaware of. I am new to comping as a whole and have had a few little wins, but now am wondering if I missed any really good stuff because I thought they would contact me directly.

Any advice, clues, thoughts greatly appreciated. Please also tell me if I am incorrect in assuming that all twitter wins are notified on twitter and not on fb.

You can request membership of a Facebook page called The Winners Circle, the members there are very good at tagging you if your name is announced as a winner. Also search your Facebook name on here as there is a Facebook Winners Thread in I Won I Won I Won.

I really appreciate that! I have sent my request in now. In all honesty based on my average of wins thus far, it is unlikely that there is any win "missing". I am so grateful for such a lovely comping community though. :T

Also, don't forget to check your 'other' message folder on Facebook. You sometimes get win notifications go into that. Good Luck

I've been lucky enough to have people tag in me comments before when I've won :O) Also, I won a GEM106 competition before on the radio and I think four people, three of which are complete strangers, messaged me on Facebook to let me know. I was so grateful :O)

I also have google alerts set up. So if my name or username pops up, I get notified

I have some lovely friends who usually tag me to let me know when they seen me announced as a winner (not so often though!). I am not part of the winners circle - I prefer to check back myself so make a note of end dates Good luck pet
