...started in February, when five full working days (bracketed by two weekends) was insufficient for my monthly contribution to be credited and the regular investment I had set up bounced on the sixth working day. I received a snitty communication about ensuring I had sufficient funds.
I was annoyed (the money had always credited in 3-4 days before), but made a note that they were unreliable and to check more carefully in future.
A few days later, without any further communication, my purchase went through at the regular investment dealing price. Fine, I thought-they've noticed it was their fault. An apology would have been nice, mind you...
A week after that, they made the purchase *again*, this time putting my cash account deeply into the red. I have checked the account...it is set up to take advantage of the once-monthly regular purchase window, so this second transaction is completely unauthorised. And while I'm getting annoyingly used to recording glitches, this time I have a contract note and the unordered shares sitting in my portfolio.
This, plus frequent website unavailability, days without being able to buy or sell shares (January) and you can imagine my current level of frustration. Is it only me?

Never had any issues myself but I don't do any regular investments. I don't recall the system being down during regular trading times, they do often have the system down during the weekend for maintenance. I do trade quite regularly so if they were down a lot I think I would notice.0

Sigh. I don't have access to a computer for personal purposes during the day, so I don't trade during regular trading times at all. There was definitely a three day period in January when I couldn't set up a next day trade, and February was just a catalogue of errors, starting with a payment that left my bank on the 3rd not being credited until the 14th...I think after that somebody started making manual corrections and it has all gone horribly wrong...import this0

I've not had any problems either. Except the one thing that really annoys me and they still haven't changed (I have asked them several times) is the Buy/Sell defaults to Buy instead of making you choose. Consequently I have on occasions doubled up my holding instead of selling resulting in excess commission and stamp duty AAAARRRRRRHHHH!
Their's is the only platform I have come across that does that and is the reason I cannot recommend them.0

To be fair to Youinvest, I thought I should update this thread to say that I emailed them last night, and my account was back to where it should be by the time I got in from work this evening.
So...a definite plus for speed of response to problems.import this0

Just tried it and it defaults to "choose"
Maybe they listened to you and changed it?0

Blimey you are right. That must be a very recent change!
I also notice that if you go in via, the portfolio screen (normally to sell) it now defaults to Sell; it used to default to Buy which is where I got caught a couple of times as you are thinking in your head that you are selling and miss that they defaulted it to buy. Well that is good news for once!0
