I think your being over dramatic to be fair. It's only two days and if you can't make £30 stretch for this time then you should really take stock of your finances and what you spend money on.All that glitters is not gold.0

sorry i should have mentioned i forgot to add once the finance team check this out on monday morning it can take 3 working days for me to get the refund thats what im mean 30.00 aint gonna last a family of 5 for long0

Do you not have any food in your cupboards/freezer at all?
Head over to the Old Style board as they can help you make decent meals out of anything!0 -
What does your 'family of 5' require so urgently that they can't manage without for a few days? Yes, it's not ideal but unless you have absolutely no food in the house, it should be doable.0

I wouldn't bank on Wonga returning the money to you. Rightly or wrongly it is their money after all!0

£30 for a family of 5 is plenty for the weekend. I'm not sure why you'd say in your op, £30 won't do a family of 5 all weekend.
Providing you don't need to but fags and booze or takeaways or expensive ready meals. It should be loads.
Start using everything in your cupboards.0 -
What's gone so wrong with your finances that you have decided they are not permitted to take their money back?
Surely you aren't disgusted at receiving the money so quickly, only disgusted at paying out back on time0 -
How do you think they feel about you defaulting on your loan?
In all seriousness, £30 is plenty to last a family for a couple of days.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
The OP is stating its for the weekend, and the length of time it takes for a refund which is approx three days, so its £30 for five days not just the weekend.0

He says in the op.

He seems more concerned about the weekend.
However if he's really careful £30 is do able. Even with 5. It may actually show him how to manage on a tight budget so he doesn't have to use wonga again. Every cloud and that!0
