Britta Water Filter Kettle

Options
Before anybody starts to suggest a different kettle I have a years worth of the Britta filters! My wife and I are after a new Britta Kettle, as our current one does not seem to be working right - it does heat the water up but it does not appear to stay hot for long and as we brought the kettle from Best Buy almost three years ago i gather there is not much we can do...

I have seen one in Sainburys but it is out of stock and we brought a new one from Debenhams but i think because I am so used too filtered water any drinks do not taste right.

We only want to spend around £30-40 max on a new kettle and I was wondering if there are any good places to look at? We live in the DY postal area

If you have already bought a new kettle but dislike the taste of unfiltered water, could you not just buy a Brita jug to use with the filters you have?

Thats what we did when our Brita kettle failed and it worked out cheaper than buying a replacement. Just keep topping up the jug and store it in the fridge so its ready to use whenever you want.
