I believe the 30% off is available on the wine section. Here you can only order minimum 12 bottles. The £10off code is only for Groceries section I believe. I don't know how people are combining the 2 offers. Please enlighten me.

    Hope this helps...

I ordered six bottles of wine from the groceries section (not the Tesco Wine website). Be aware that clicking on the 30% off link on the groceries homepage takes you to a list of their "summer" wines, which is only a small choice! You get the 30% off any wine so look at the normal wine section too. Most of the bottles I chose were half price anyway (there's a nice £10 Rioja at half price!) so I got an extra 30% off that and in total have saved nearly £30 just on wine!

I then used a £10 off code I found on here which still worked as of noon yesterday (8Y73KPRBFZL3). Delivered this morning with no problems, receipt says £8.83 off the wine and an extra £10 off the total shop.

Anyone who wants my fuel voucher PM me, my Tesco doesn't have a petrol station!
Aiming to pay off mortgage by my 30th birthday... £39438 to go!

"Had a documentary made about me" non-clique No.1, PM me to be added!

Tesco must be selling some of these wines at a hefty loss!

The Marques De Leon, a decent cheap rocket fuel, (currently £2.10) is working out at only £1.47 a bottle under this offer.

After VAT is deducted that's £1.25 a bottle.

But the statutory rate of excise duty which Tesco must pay on each bottle when it arrives in the UK is £1.33.

So that's an 8p loss per bottle on the tax alone, plus a loss of the entire cost of the wine, bottling, shipping, etc.

I'd estimate it to be a total loss of around 60p-70p per bottle.

I have just had my Tesco delivery of Marques De Leon. However, they did not take the 30% off the bill (which you only get to see when the delivery arrives). I called their hotline and they are now saying the £2.10 was the price with the 30% already taken off. This is clearly rubbish - as you could go into the Tesco and buy the wine for £2.10 and then get the 30% off.

So I had the order sent bacik. That is some pretty lousy customer service.

I think the reason might actually be that the 30% deal is no longer running in the shops, therefore although when I bought the wine (sunday night, about 10pm, when it clearly advertised that I could have 30% off the wines), the deal was technically running, by monday morning the deal had stopped. Which begs the question, why did they advertise the deal on Sunday evening, when it wasn't actually possible to get the 30% off any more.
