Current home owners are likely to have kids so they are connected to this mess weather they like it or not. I don't blame current home owners who own a home to live in but we should all protest against people who own a home to make money from - BTL should be taxed so high that it makes it unattractive
BTL landlords also provide homes to people who cannot afford to buy now, or at any time, regardless of house prices. Should they join your protest?.

Inhibit btl more than it already is will cause rents to rise. This hurts people saving a deposit. I certainly couldn't have become an owner without renting first. Renting gave me the opportunity to save.

That was the idea. You must be new here. This board is full of trolls, w1lly wavers and house price rampers.

I must say it was more amusing a couple of years ago when prices weren't rising and the rampers were getting really desperate, even claiming austerity must end otherwise we'll be under the Nazi jackboot soon :rotfl:

Same as what they did 15 years ago - everything was fine pre 1997
