Missing Pension Contributions

My Company pension contributions have gone haywire. They are normally deducted from my salary but for 2 months no personal or company contributions have been made. I make 10% and company pay 15% so it's quite a lot. I was a bit slow to notice but they are now "looking into it".
I'm a bit worried as the end of the tax year is approaching. Can the contributions be made retrospectively in exceptional circumstances, or do I need to chase them to get this sorted ASAP?
