Settlement Date v Partial Settlement Date

Hi,

First ever post so bare with me!

I was discharged from Bankruptcy 3 years ago. I've been credit building ever since but never really tackled my files. I'm now working on getting the data absolutely correct and with everyone singing from the same hymn sheet!

So far 11 reported errors on my Experian File and 7 reported errors on my Equifax File.. Not got to Call Credit yet! :D

Experian reports concluded accounts with a "Settlement Date" or "Partial Settlement Date"

Having spoken to them:

Settled = Exactly what it means so all good
Partially Settled = An agreement was made whereby 'some' of the debt was settled.

I know a Partial Settlement dates may cause issues with people on debt repayment plans and such but for us post Bankrupts I'm gathering as long as the Partial Settlement date is no later than the Bankruptcy Discharge date then if the account was part of the Bankruptcy it makes no ends to an underwriter whether its reported as a Settlement Date or a Partial Settlement date?

Did anyone have any issues with this down the line?
I have read the initial part of of the Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy thread and it does appear to be the case.

Apologies but we have to pretty pedantic about these things and I was always taught there was no such thing as a stupid question :p

Ta!
