What can i do with an old ripped sheet
Comments

Depending on where the rip is and the size, if it's at an edge could you mend it and that bit goes under the pillow?

Thanks forall the great ideas, i can't mend it as the rips quite big now, as my DH didn't mention it till day 2 !!! and bu this time he's ripped it bigger .
Half of it is still in really good condition so i'm going to make a couple of pillowcases i think and then try to make a basic tunic stlye dress for my dd who's 5 as she wants a "wedding dress" to dress upin and we've got quite a bit of net from when i get her some ikea sheer curtains the other week , so should be able to do something weddingy out of the two.

i'm knitting teddies for my boys at the minute so would probably use it for linings. alternatively i'd make some pillow protectors."it's better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick" - my dad, regularly throughout my childhood when I complained about something being too small/not perfect/not tasty/not what I wanted. he was right every time.0

Something a bit different to what has been mentioned, you could cut the sheet into 2cm wide strips, join them together to make one countinous yarn. Use the yarn to crochet a storage basket, bag or rag rug.0
