buying a sofa without 'interest free' credit

Options
I'm in Manchester and thinking of buying a new leather suite but don't want interest free credit, which is let's face it built into the price!
Does anyone know where to shop?
Thanks in advance!:)

Exactly how is interest free credit built into the price? Especially when the price is exactly the same, whichever way you choose to pay?
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

You don't seriously believe interest isn't built in to the price of these 'interest free' products do you?

When DFS offer 4 years interest free credit, say for £1000 this then becomes a loan with a finance company, as finance companies are not registered charities they need to make a profit so they don't pass on £1000 to DFS, they keep back a percentage.
This is their profit and how they stay in business. So, supposing DFS receive £800 from the finance company, this means that the customer is paying £1000 for a £800 product!

So, anyone who chooses to pay cash for a product that is being offered with 'interest free credit' is bonkers!

So, if you go in and pay cash for that same £1000 priced sofa, does that make the sofa actually worth £1000 then, or are you simply paying £1000 'cash' for a £800 sofa?? :p

Exactly! You are paying the premium that is added to the sofa to make it 'interest free'

I bought this sofa direct from a manufacturer in Bridgend. it was brilliant quality, I paid a £40 per sofa extra for scotch guarding and it survived spills from the family. I had a good 10 years out of it before I decided I wanted a new look.

I've also heard good reports about sofasofa

I like the idea of removable cushions, as well as being able to clean them you can also have new foam inserted at a later date:)

you can also buy spare covers to have a change of look. We bought the arm caps and they stopped any wear on the arms. The fabric never wore or tore anywhere despite being climbed on by young children!
