vendors 'desired moving date'

I've been living with the illusion that the chain I'm in might complete near the end of March or Early April ..

I've just been told one link would like it to happen at the end of April.

Has anyone experienced a link' altering' their date.. or are we stuck with it?

It does depend on when everyone is ready, more than when people want - people can be unrealistic.

If it's not unrealistic and the majority in the chain want to go late March/early April then all you can do collectively is apply pressure.

Easter is 20th April. Perhaps they were looking to avoid taking too many holiday days from work?

They are retired.. I wanted to use my holiday days- to settle into the new house.. if that makes sense..

This is the 'slowest' part of the chian - they have delayed answering enquirys - and perhaps their desired date is why. The rest of the chian has been ready to exchange for a couple of weeks..

At the end of the day no one an force them to Complete earlier than they want - only encourage or, of cousr, someone could threaten to leave the chain so that they (along with everyone else) will have to start again.
