Really? Each to their own I guess. I think it's one of the worst chocolate bars available. I'd suggest trying their Bellarom bars - £1 for a big 200g slab - lovely! And was also unexpectedly selling at half-price last weekend alongside the aforementioned offers. Yummy!

I also tried the Deluxe chocolate cake. Not really my cup of tea but seemed nice enough and the family said it was delicious.

Agreed - I think it is an insult to chocolate, and I'm not particularly discerning about such things.

I'm a chocoholic, and I was impressed with the 17p bars, not the best but certainly not the worst, similar to Milka bars.

The deluxe chocolate cake was sensational, no wonder it's won awards, I've tried all the supermarkets finest/ttd etc.. cakes (around £2.50) and this is the best, I'll buy again, even at £1.99.

The white chocolate truffles were pretty good, a bargain at 99p.

I go to Lidl occasionally as it is the only place I know to buy Ritter Sport White chocolate with cornflakes, expensive even at Lidl, but a very nice treat.

If you think that cheap waxy rubbish tastes like Milka, I can only wish I had your tastebuds.

I've bought quite a few of the Ritter Sport bars from Lidl. They're not that expensive considering the hefty 250g weight. Still haven't actually tried any yet but I hear a lot of good things so looking forward to tucking into a bar soon.

I think it's obviously a matter of taste because I think milka is so oversweet and would rather eat Lidl chocolate any day!
Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.

Fair enough. I've got a terribly sweet tooth so I absolutely love Milka.
