I want to return a sofa,but ive thrown away the packaging-advice please

hi,I recently bought 2 farley sofas for home delivery after unpacking them,I have found one has faulty stitching on the leather,can I return it without the original box,as you have to destroy the packaging to get the sofa out in the first place.I was told it had a 30 day money back gaurentee,but it states in original packaging.advice please

If it's faulty then it doesn't matter if is in it's original packaging. The 30 money back guarantee only applies if you have changed your mind and no longer want the item.

thanks,just phoned them and they said providing its covered they will take it back,so fingers crossed im waiting for them to ring back

the faulty sofa was collected no problem,the guys collecting it,said it dosen't matter if its wrapped up or not,they collect lots of things unboxed.Different to what they said on the phone!
