My eyes are wide open now! Just 5 months ago I'd have been booking a day off work and shopping until I dropped, things like this prove to me how much my attitude has changed, I realise now they aren't giving me licence to spend, they're simply inviting me to jump in a hole which they'll profit from.
On a similar note I have been told I'm pre-approved for a Lumis (I think) with an APR of 59% that went straight into the shredder!
Every day I wish I'd had my LBM sooner but thank god it happened when it did or things could be so much worse.

What a great post! In fact, all the posts on this thread have filled me with joy. I'm also one who has, after a very very long time in the dark, finally had my LBM (2 years ago) and can't believe the difference in my attitude now. Like Kate, I feel it's a shame I didn't have my LBM way before I did but am so thankful that at least it has now happened.
Nice one, everyone - you've just cheered me up on a rubbish shift at work!0 -

Fed-up with receiving this sh*te I never asked for! I return mine too, but neatly place a stash of 'takeaway' junk mail in for good measure!
They'll have no shortage of pizzas, kebabs, Chinese, Indian if they come looking for me!!
Lol!

I've been thoughtlessly just throwing their returns away - I'm inspired now to provide them with a range of tasty take-out dishes they can order from too!
After all, if they are willing to pay return postage, then it is surely selfish of me not to take advantage of their generosity. April 2008 - Epiphany - At least £28K owed to 5 CC's
