Aldi honey....be aware!

I bought a jar of Grandessa honey about a month ago. I wanted to start using it a couple of days ago but just before I opened it I noticed some blobs on the inside of the base.
I thought that they were bits of crystallization which can happen but on closer examination I realised that the blobs were mould! I have never seen this before.
I contacted Aldi Customer Services who thanked me for contacting them and told me to return the jar to my local store for a replacement or refund.
I had explained in my email that I am concerned about the safety aspect as someone with an eye sight problem may not have seen the mould.
I thought that I would post this 'be aware' warning on here but I hope that my purchase was just a rogue jar!

Recently used moneysupermarket.com for honey deals and found Asda's South American honey - smart price jar - was best offer@£1.24/29.2p per 100g.

Asked how that squared with product info. re@Sth America. It's good honey.
Otherwise Mr T just edges them atm at 29.1p per 100g:

Otherwise, have you checked any local beekeepers. Although this honey will be dearer[bees are having hard times finding suitable/sufficient pollen, fighting varroa virus]some can be 'for best':-)
I also buy 2kg tubs from Intermarch! or Carrefour in France.
My childhood honey was great wax 4lb buckets of Arataki Clover, rock-solid on chilly mornings like today.
All 'marketed' now, bien sûr.

Still, will be packing some in a slow box back come June.
Then remembered going to this magical place, honey bought whenever in New Plymouth 1950's-60's:http://www.pukeariki.com/Research/Taranaki-Research-Centre/Taranaki-Stories/Taranaki-Story/id/525/title/heaven-could-be-shaped-no-other-way-the-story-of-roy-brewster-and-the-beehive-house
