The young deserve frack all, if they want something they need to earn it.0 -
Why should the young have a 2 bed - we need 3 beds min so we can have a family. I think it's jealously on boomers part as the young are more clever now days, better education etc0

If you want a house, holiday and good times you work for them…..bloody hard.
Of course you can have them all - just maybe not all at once.
It's called deferred gratification. It's about making choices. It's about priorities.
I chose the house first. The good times were free or low cost, the fancy holidays came last.
I'm just renovating a house, essential repairs first, then new bathroom. Looked at the budget today and decided to press on now and get the kitchen sorted - getting all the messy jobs done and out of the way.
My plumber gave me a figure for the work. My exact words to him were - "oh well, that's the cruise postponed then……."
Only the very rich can have it all at once. For the rest of us mere mortals - boomers included - it's all about making choices.0 -

You can get a three bedroom here for that with a bit of cosmetic work needed!
At nearly 50 I have had seven 2 week holidays and one 1 week holiday. After thirty + years of work, I think I deserve a holiday.;)0 -

I believe, if you posted the above seriously, that you are a troll.
You certainly have an inflated sense of self-entitlement.0
