As of today the company reporting incorrectly on my file has had 28 days from receiving my letter to correct my file or contact me . I have had nothing from them and it is still showing incorrectly on my file , does this mean i am likely to have to go through the information commissioner once i have give them the extra 14 days to see if my files do update ? any info greatly appreciated .

Give then an extra 28 days making 8 weeks in total. Then if still no joy, put in formal complaints via the ICO AND the FOS if the creditor in question falls under their remit.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks Fermi can i ask do they normally get in touch to tell you they will be making the change or just to tell you they won't ? Or do they just make the change without any contact ?0
