Good anything that can help.
Can't sleep, quit counting sheep and talk directly to the shepherd :cool:0 -
This is something at least, but kids need to be taught how to budget and manage money, then the sharks would never appear
Its all very well trying to use scare tactics, but this does not solve the root of the problem, just gives them something to worry about when they cant manage their finances0 -
Is there any way I can get hold of a copy of the video for home educated children does anyone know??
Thanks!0 -
When I went to school they taught me to add up and take away. This is something at least, but kids need to be taught how to budget and manage money, then the sharks would never appear
My kids tell me that they still do this.
If an adult can't apply this teaching to the concept of income, bills, saving and spending there is little hope.0 -

Get the bullies to dress up as Pay Day loan staff.
Use a smart phone to record lending £10 to a pupil.
After the £10 is repaid, start extorting more money.
Record footage of the payment demand sessions.
Post the video clips on "social media".
Like those slap happy videos, it will go viral, and lesson learnt.0 -

Possibly, more likely the bullies would catch onto this new way of extorting pocket money, and that woudk go viral.0 -
Anybody that needs to be taught about things like this do not deserve to be allowed to have any money in the first place.......
It seems nowadays nobody has to learn by their mistakes !!!
You borrow from these people when you can't afford it - you get what you deserve....but you shouldn't do it again !!!!0 -
The problem is, is that its far too easy to get credit, and if you can't get it through mainstream, you will go to a loan shark if you are desperate. Pupils do leave school without a clue about bills, bank accounts, mortgages, apr's etc, they should be taught these skills alongside reading, writing etc.0

Do you think the people who might benefit would learn and listen?
They don't learn the English, maths etc so why any difference for finances.0
