Help Ive Lost My Sons Post Office Account Details!!!

HI ALL, PLZ SOMEBODY HELP ME. wHEN MY SON WAS BORN 6 YRS AGO WE OPENED AN ORDINARY ACCOUNT FOR HIM WITH OUR LOCAL POST OFFICE. sINCE THEN WE MOVED HOUSE AND CONSEQUENTLY IS SAVINGS BOOK GOT LOST IN THE MOVE. I HAVE NOTHING WITH THE DETAILS ON. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN TRACE THESE DETAILS SO AS I CAN ACCESS HIS ACCOUNT? :huh:

ask the post office for help. explain the situation. You cant be the only case where this has happnened.

go into the post office they will give you a form to fill in asking for as much details you can give eg
name
address
branch of the post office account opened etc.
it can take about a month but they found my daughters account this way.

On reading this thread - it reminds me of a post office account I had when I was about 10 (23 Years ago). Cant remeber if I left much in it (may £10 or so). Never really done anything about it. Would it be worth following it up?

Go to the Post Office and ask them for help.
Then find you caps lock key and apply it - it makes it so much easier for the rest of us to read it if you do
