If you do your maths its not such a great deal
To save £10 you have to spend at least £160 and be prepared to shop at Morrisons for 4 weeks running
The average car holds around 50 litres of fuel but to save £5 you need to make sure theres enough room in your tank and spend at least £65
Thats a minimum of £225 to save £15
If you live near enough to a Morrisons and spend that much anyway then its not a bad deal.
Personally for the hassle involved its not worth it.
I could probably save near enough the same by shopping at Aldi or Lidl instead

It isn't a fantastic deal, I agree (and I speak as a defector to Morrisons over the past six months or so).

On the other hand, I would defy most normal shoppers to get everything they need in Aldi or Lidl. Morrisons at least has a wide ranging stock and is, IME, better value than any of the majors - especially Sainsbury's whose recent price rises make them just an eye-watering alternative.

To follow your logic, you would probably waste as much petrol schlepping around from Aldi to whichever other supermarket(s) you needed to visit to get all the things they either don't sell or you happen not to like.

Like I said, If you live close by a Morrisons then it could be a good deal. I have to travel a bit to get to one and if I miss one of the 4 week shopping trips then its wasted.
I always shop in Aldi or Lidl and get most of what I want cheaper than at Morrisons and then I may go to Morrisons or other store for anything I dont find in Aldi/Lidl
To be honest I find nearly all essentials I could need in Aldi/Lidl

One thing I hate about Morrisons is that they dont always price things by weight, especially fruit and veg. It annoyingly difficult to make comparisons each time
