going on holiday

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help.
last year we booked a large family holiday to Greece that me, my husband and my in-laws (as they are helping to pay for our first ever holiday abroad) have just finished paying for, but my husband is about to become bankrupt, will we still be able to go on holiday or will we have to cancel and loose all our money.
PS the holiday was booked in my husbands name.

The OR is only Intersted in you assets for the benefit of your creditors. If you cancelled the holiday you would lose most of the money unless it was for an insurable reason therfore it is not an asset. It is not the OR's job to rob you and your family of all pleasure in life, they are usually very understanding as long as you are honest with them.

Make the most of it this year as if you do go BR you won't be left with a lot of spare money to save up for another one any time soon.

    Just go and enjoy

Presumably there is some sort of 'paper-trail' to show you yourselves did not pay for the entire holiday?

This would be useful to show...at some point in the future....where the funds came from?

Also, if the monies were paid using credit, has that been paid back?

BAnkruptcy can only be 'pre-planned' in the mind of the Bankrupt.

The only part of a BR that is 'pre-booked' perhaps is the Court?

And the COurt is only too happy if one doesn't turn up!
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......
