Lovefilm by Post

Hi. I am looking at joining Lovefilm (Amazon..) for the first time, but would rather have the postal version than the streaming one.

Does anyone have any tips on signing up or discount codes?

Amazon seem to be winding down the post service now and as an exhausting customer I can't change my package. I don't know of any alternative either

Cinema Paradiso is one I haven't used personally but heard good things about, but yes these services will all soon be dead, no one is going to wait weeks in some cases to get the new releases when everyone could be watching it anytime via streaming.

The OP was asking about joining LOVEFiLM, not wanting a subjective comment on the future of the brand!
LOVEFiLM disc rental is now known as LOVEFiLM By Post and can be accessed on the main Amazon website by scrolling down the categories. The package for new members is £7.99 per month for unlimited discs, two at a time. Existing memebers continue with their previous fee.
I know lots of people (including myself) who had the streaming and By Post service and have now cancelled the streaming service and just continued with the disc rental. There is no comparison between the quality and choice of streaming and disc. With discs you have a massive choice and the option of Blu ray with new releases available much sooner than with streaming.
Long live LOVEFiLM! And no, I don't work for them!

I use the postal love film,it's a very fast service, we only get 2 films a month, watch one post back, the same day they get your film back they post out your next film. Enjoy :j
