My sons fav recipe ATM is pasta with chicken, red peppers, onions, and pesto, all mixed together with grated cheese on top. You have everything you need for that except the cheese which is optional.
Ps the garlic Philly makes a great pasta sauce too. X

Last night at the Pub quiz we had pasta with a small amount of cooked mince and chopped onion in it.Very tasty and filling.I go to the local pub quiz once a week and for £2.00 we have a good evenings fun plus the food:) Ok sometimes its a small chicken curry with rice or pasta or a jacket spud with cheese or coleslaw on top but for £2.00 what more can you expect I buy a large cup of coffee for £1.20 and I don't think I could find cheaper night out than £3.20 :) but what I'm saying is that with your limited budget set yourself a goal for how least you can spend in the next month You may be suprised at how well you do.

There is a blog called A Girl Called Jack (not me, or even a relation :):)) google it and you will find some amazing recipes on there. She fed herself and her little boy on £10.00 per week.I have tried some of the recipes and they really are very nice, and quite healthy.

I started to lose weight for a forthcoming operation next month, and since September have lost 2 and a half stone.I didn't buy WW food or any of the diet food that's in the shops I simply ate heathily and three times a day .Breakfasts were usually bran flakes with a chopped banana on top, or porridge made with water and a splash of milk on top.
Lunch: soup (Home made and cheap as chips :):)) plus a couple of crispbreads with soft low fat cheese on top and sliced cucumber or tomatoes on top
Dinners have been smaller,(even put them on a smaller plate ) and less of the fatty stuff I used to eat but I now grill everything and when cooking only use the barest amount of fat. All the milk I have used has been skimmed.I no longer eat bread or butter. On my crackers I will have low calorie soft cheese.you can buy a tub for about 60p of flavoured herb & garlic or chives .

My DD who works full time has been so supportive and she also changed her diet to help me stick to mine, and she too has lost a couple of stone. She takes a small salad to work with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and soft cheese in it ,plus a yoghurt and a piece of fruit.I eat a lot more fruit and veg than I used to and will pile up the veg on my plate when I have dinner.Only two small potato's though.
I drink gallons of cold water and in between meals will top up on cold water as it really does fill you up and take the 'I have got to have something to eat feeling' away :):):)

So no biscuite, cakes, chocolate or things that aren't good for you.
I will have a small treat of something nice on perhaps a Saturday night but it is a treat and not an everyday thing. It works for me and I feel so much better for losing the weight. So lock up your purse, think positively that you will lose weight, and set yourself a goal of a lb a week. That's what the diet nurse told me to do and it does work. A lb a week in a year will lose you 52lb which in total is 3 stone 10lbs a decent amount to lose and it will stay off better, as you are losing it gradually.
I live alone and manage on £60.00 per month for food, and do my best to stay away from the shops unless I actually need something ,then I will take my small list and enough cash to cover it and no more.If you only have a small amount of cash on you then you can't overspend.I buy smaller amounts of things and if possible will like yesterday buy at my local g'grocers half a savoy cabbage which will do me as an accompaniment for three meals.cost me 44p
Aldi's do great fruit and veg deals as do Morrisons and if you go on a Sunday afternoon its often marked down quite a bit.I buy the veg for my soup marked down as its going into soup and soup can be made from almost any veg thats past its best.So less meat more veg and watch every penny you spend Its amazing how inventive you can become when it comes to streeetching meals
Good luck I'm sure you will be fine .Try using what you already have in store before you buy anything else though .Imagine you are cut off from the shops and have to make your stocks last and see what meals you can make for as little as possible. Its a bit of a challenge but you may suprise yourself how well you can do.I have my goal in sight now my op. next month hopefully but I shall still continue to watch my weight and hopefully lose a few more lbs before the summer
    Cheers and good luck

    hi, sorry about your car:(

you have loads of food in! so, £250 for 3 more weeks? you could easily do that I'm sure.
meal planning is definitely the way to go, using up perishables first, like you did with the tomatoes.
get a smaller plate, draw a line down the middle (imaginary or with a permanent pen!!) to halve the plate, then quarter one of the halves.
meat and carbs fill the quarters, veg or salad fill the half.
added to the extra walking that should help the weight, good luck
