Yes - the OR will happily take the money off your hands once you have and repay it to your creditors.

.....although as a BR,one does not have the right to claim PPI incurred prior to BR..that right vests with the OR.

Be aware, if a person who is BR [discharged, or undischarged] engages a company to re-claim PPI, whilst the OR has the right to receive any monies for the BR estate, the charges [costs] incurred are the responsibility of the BR to pay.

So, one gets nowt, and pays for the privilege.

If one has been BR, leave PPI claims for the OR to seek.

Yes indeed, a well put and very important message.

I was worried about this as i had PPI claims ongoing through a claims company before i went bankrupt, the good news is any fees they want then they have to go to the OR and try and get some money from them.

But as posted above if you use a claims company after BR then you will get the bill.

There may be a way out of this in that you do not have the legal capacity to pursue a claim.

However, I really would not there in the first place if I were you.

The way out would likely be, ''out-of-the-frying-pan, into-the fire'' stuff.

Engaging a company to pursue a claim when no legal right exists might be construed in an adverse way in Court?

Surely, BRs would not place themselves back into the position of DCA's knocking on the door again?
