When you post a comment on some comps, it gives you an option on how you want to post it, eg google account etc, if you post as anonymous can they still contact you if you win?

I'm not sure they can... I guess if it's RC, they will be able to see the other entries you've made and can contact you via those?

I always use the name / URL option - I use my real name, and then the web address for my Twitter account.

I've tried entering my twitter name - says it must contain a host name
so
I tried my twitter email account I signed up with - same result

I'm a bit dim and not understanding what you meant by web address for twitter account - can you point me in right direction?:)

I tried linking my twitter account and got a message about it not being verified ?
