    Apparently they are lesser forms of life as they don't earn as much as other people so don't deserve the same rights and responsibilities.

    You doubtless applauded tougher mortgage regulation, so now you need to accept the consequences.


    Some have long called for a larger rental sector and for us to be more Germanic in outlook by ditching our obsession with ownership.


    I wonder if people that called for the above are now regretting it.

    Not sure why you think buying a house is a right?

    To buy you must first afford.
    Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.
