Hi there, I have been waiting for a CCJ to be set aside and then my credit files updated, the court set the judgement aside a fortnight ago (it was applied in error) and I have been using a number of the credit file agencies to keep a check on it being removed. I found that it was removed from Experian on Weds and made a school boy error of applying for a loan with my bank (Nationwide) the next day without checking the CCJ had also been removed from Equifax and CallCredit. The loan was declined and when I have persued this with the bank they say it's due to adverse info showing on my credit files. I have checked and Equifax have now updated and removed this but I think CallCredit are still in the process of doing. Experian report says Fair and Equifax Good. My question is if I now wait until I can confirm my call credit file is also clean and good if I were to reapply for a loan am I likely to be looked at by nationwide or should I look elsewhere another high street lender? I know credit checks are not based purely on scores etc but do u think nationwide would be a definite no so soon after even if the adverse info has gone? I don't have lots of searches on my file so just want to make sure if I do reapply then I give myself the best chance of approval? Am I best waiting a month before reapplying or is a week long enough or will it not matter?

" I know credit checks are not based purely on scores etc " is false, its done whats on your file, the actual score given by experian for example isnt seen by the lenders and is worthless.0
