This has been discussed elsewhere on MSE, as much because this BOOK TOKEN can be genuinely printed from the Internet.

You shouldn't have a problem with it at WHSmith or Waterstones, however it CANNOT be GENUINELY redeemed at Tesco even if you do buy the book there. Tesco, ASDA etc will not get the £4 back because they are not participants of the Book Token system - https://www.nationalbooktokens.co.uk

Personally I don't use this Book Token to reduce my shopping bill, just about every other money off coupon (normally from a manufacturer) where the retailer can redeem them at face value YES, but this one NO !
Too much usage of "worthless bits of paper" is likely to cause Tesco and similar to change redemption policy and maybe stop accepting other coupons altogether.

I was under the impression that since Tesco stocks books as well so they get the money, thanks for clarifying. I feel a bit guilty for having used a few in the past, wont be stocking up the July coupons though.

    Excellent post - many thanks.

I'm a newbie to printable coupons so this is a great help to the likes of me!
