Do wireless headsets exist for LANDlines?

Want to make free (well part of phone landline package) calls to family using a wirelsss headset so that I can chat and do the house work at the same time.

You can set wireless headsets/ear piece for the mobile but do they exist for the landline?

There are couple of options for you
1. Plantronics make wireless headsets using Dect technology (wireless) which will give you coverage over all of your house, unless you live in Buckingham Palace, of course, the down side here is they are professional quality and can be a little expensive
2. The second option for you maybe to buy a Dect phone with a headset socket on it then you will be able to plug in a wired headset and clip the phone onto a belt as you wander about

Search for Plantronics for the Headset and Panasonic as (IHO) make the best Dect phones

Hello got a plantronics headset (DECT) quite expensive but in my view very worth it, long battery life good sound and a good enough range. Links to any GAP compatable system and is either over the ear or headband.

Do remember that you will need a handset which is compatible for a cordless headset. This example fits the bill perfectly.

Some landline units have bluetooth, so you can use a bluetooth headset.

Yes you can use bluetooth but it will only have a relativly short range, most Bluetooth headsets have a range of only 10 Meters
