Dell dissappears from Cashback sites

I have a lot of cashback over the years buying new computers for business and using Quidco to earn cashback.
Checked today as I was about to buy 3 PCs and they have gone completely from Quidco and Topcashback.
Anybody know why?
Their rates had dropped in recent months and I have had experiences of "account managers" effectively intervening, meaning you lost cashback.

I bought a Dell laptop recently, and it said 10% cashback on Quidco, but now Dell had completely disappeared from Quidco, and Quidco said 'Dell have taken the stance that they will not accept any casbhack claims now that they have chosen not to offer cashback on any cashback website'. 'I'm afraid that they are not accepting any claims regardless of when the purchase was made'.
The 10% cashback offer was available when I placed my order back in early February. Of course Dell can redraw from the time when they decided to take off the offer but I had ordered it before so shouldn't Dell honour the cashback accordingly? :cool:Vodafone sucks. :mad:0 -
I had loads of problems actually getting cashback from Dell when it was available. It was usually the old "sorry it went to another cashback company but for data protection reasons we can't tell you who". Loads of rubbish ...
I used to challenge Dell directly and got my cashback direct from them but my guess is they couldn't be bothered with all the hassle any more so decided to just pull out.0 -
I am glad to say that the customer services department at Dell did not disappoint and has eventually honoured the 10% cashback recently. :j
Quidco was not helpful as usual on this occasion, my advice is also to contact Dell directly, if you were in a similar situation.Vodafone sucks. :mad:0 -
Contacting merchants direct can definitely pay dividends.
Though there others who couldn't give a damn once they have achieved their sale!**** Sealed Pot Challenge - Member #96 ****
