Newspaper subscription and free ipad

Afternoon all,
I am looking for a deal for newspaper subscription, I'm sure it was the times that was offering a free ipad with the Deal. When I came a cross the add I didn't pay any attention to it.
Now my tablet has died I'm looking for a new one and as I buy the paper (not the same one every day) I thought that this might have been the solution, but I can seem to find the add anymore. Did anyone else see it or take advantage of it?
If you know of any other offers like that about please let me know.
Cheers

I recall seeing a deal with the Daily Mail to get a Kindle Fire HD 'free' with a years subscription to the Daily Mail online, not seen an iPad offer but know the Tesco tablets have had money off deals but not linked to a paper subscription.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

I know I got my Kindle Fire HD at Argos before Christmas for £99 with a free £10 Argos gift card.
Your prob aware of this but if you live or work nearby to Waitrose you can get a free paper daily with a Waitrose card.
Most papers offer a free 30 day trial too if you don't mind keep switching papers.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Thanks for the replays
I'm really looking for a new tablet, and thought I could kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Im trying to convince myself that the deal would have worked out more expensive than if I just bought a tablet and a paper subscription, but I guess I'll never know!
One thing I do know is that as soon as I have sorted it out an offer will pop up!0 -
The Times offer was subscribe to the digital edition (rather than the print edition) for 18 months for £299 and get a free 2013 Nexus 7 32gb. It's not available at the moment but it might be worth keeping an eye on their offers to see if they do something similar in future.0
