Hello, im currently trying to sort out what bits i can and have a quick question - if i have a full and final offer accepted obviously before i pay up i would want a letter stating that they will not sell on the remainder etc, is an email usually acceptable for this?

Um..not exactly. The law hasnt caught up with technology and if it comes back to bite you later, an email is oftimes not considered good enough. Do the initial negotiations via email of course, but get the whole thing in writing (the old fashioned way) at the end and guard it with your life. Make sure it actually includes the words 'full and final' as people have before been led to believe one thing and found out later to their cost that it was only a partial settlement, the balance of which is then sold on again.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it
