OK, 2 years ago I bought a digital slr camera from warehouse express on 9 months interest free credit provided by Clydesdale financial services, which gave me time to save up the money and pay it off, so no interest to pay. When the nine months were up Clydesdale F/S sent a letter giving me the chance to pay in full (interest free) or pay installments (with interest)
This time I bought a super-duper long lens for the camera on 9 months interest free (from same people )meaning to pay it off when the 9 months were up, only things seem to have gone pear shaped!
I noticed today that a payment to Clydesdale financial services has been made from my current account which I guess means I will now be paying in installments with interest, but I did not recieve any letter or notification that this was due to happen, giving me the chance to pay in full.
My question is, do they have to (by law) remind me when the 9 months are up or is it down to me to remember and make payment in full?
The first time they definately sent me a letter so perhaps it's an oversight on their part?
Can't find anything in the small print about this, anyone any Ideas?

They don't have to remind you. It's your problem to write it on your calendar.0
