Abbey mortgage

We are hoping to get a fixed rate mortgage with Abbey. After speaking to a mortgage adviser yesterday(whom i have used before and is very good) she advised us that Abbey are offering a good 5 year fixed rate with all fees paid and £750 towards legal costs which would be paid directly to our appointed solicitor. When i look on the Abbey website it clearly states that if you use one of their appointed solicitors you get all fees paid on the house you are selling and the one you are buying----no mention of the £750. This would obviously be worth more than £750 for us.We are going back in to see the adviser on Monday as we need to get sorted quickly as contracts need to be exchanged in 4 weeks
we have just part exchanged our house for a new one.Can anyone please advise if a mortgage adviser gets different terms to those advertised on the abbey website? Thanks xx

It looks like the money available for the legals can be apportioned in different ways.
Your adviser has recognized that you will not require legals on both properties and has allocated the money to a cashback by choice.

You need to discuss these with your mortgage broker as she will know what deal she has arranged.
Normally, you would need to pay the legals for both the sale and the purchase.
