How about shepherd's pie? Or cornish pasties? Or make the meatballs, cook them in the sauce, then freeze the lot till next week.

If it were my DH, he'd be having pasta again, and telling me how much nicer it was than what he had at lunch ;) or he'd be going hungry next week :D

My family love meat balls with chips, or with boiled pots.

What about some sort of savoury mince with chopped up veggies, or a chilli,
mince with a suet crust baked in the oven
    OR
suggest OH cooks as he's messed up your plan
    OR
suggest he takes you out for dinner

I know the one I'd go for

Just do what you were going to do - that'll learn him for not looking at your plan!!
