New loan, consolidate or get 2nd loan?

Comments

  • Oh dear, another new poster that wont listen to good advise, probably slags off the very banks for making "excess profits" that he is happy to pay £1000s in interest (aka profit) to.

    You couldnt make it up.

    1. Advise is to offer suggestions about the best course of action to someone. See above, there isn't any, good or otherwise.

    2. "You won't get a loan", which pretty much sums up the "comments" above are wrong, so not "good" comments.

    2. I don't slag off banks for making excess profits you are making that up and by doing so making yourself look stupid.

    3. Interest does not equal profit.

    4. 3679 posts, I think you know what I am saying.

The very knowledgable and soon to be underwriter that I spoke to told me he was aware of the forum and wouldn't recommend it, too many people who like the sound of their own voice apparently, too much wrong information. Like in this thread.

When your application finally reaches an underwriter. You'll receive a different response. In essence consisting of 2 letters.

If you don't like this forum. Go elsewhere. As rude ill mannered contributors have nothing to offer anybody else.

OP, see you're quite happy to highlight a load of posters as wrong there when, in essence, they weren't! You didn't get a consolidation loan for the full amount.

You were supposedly offered 25k (which could subsequently have been rejected, even if clearing the original), and indeed were "looking for 20-25k for new loan", yet ended up taking one for 7.5k.

So you never did get your 'consolidation' loan, which is what was suggested - rather you effectively topped it up.
