I was bought a Magimix l'expresso machine in around 2002. it's still in perfect condition and has pumped out between 4 and 12 lattes, expressos and americanos every day since we got it.
Has saved me a stupid amount of money over the years on good coffee and every cup is worth getting up for in the morning.
So my advice is buy a really good reputable make of coffee machine and enjoy delicious coffee whenever you want for years and years afterwards.
Some things in life are worth it.
