I think in the past some Elite have met up at the Ideal Home Show, using their free tickets for admission :money:0 -
I have a sprung clean kitchen, I just have to ignore the unslightly brickwork in the corner where the old boiler was.
I have even cleaned the spice rack. Although not wiped off and put back all the little jars yet. Mr TS does like his spices, I have no idea what half of them get used in.
Anyone got any ideas how to clean off a residue left on the vinyl flooring from the protective plastic stuff they put down. It is gradually flaking off have had a bit of a scrape but it's stubborn and washing it did not move it at all.
It does seem to be coming off more as I walk on it but then it is coming through rest of house.
WD40 will clean the sticky plastic stuff off.....use it sparingly and give the floor a wash with soapy water afterwards. The only thing is it stinks!0 -
On a £40 shop triple points is only going to add another 80 nectar points worth 40p - not exactly a riveting offer.
Exactly, I'll spend elsewhere. I normally go in once a week, for milk for work and almost always get a til spit for £3 off a £20 spend. Not got one this week so will go in tomo morning and see. I've got a £6 BM, a £5 GC and a £12 GC still in my coupon folder.
Right, I'm off to do a little T and perhaps an A shop if i have time.. good job my boss is outBack later x

I lost out on the herbal essence shampoo because no multibuy came off at the till but its showing on the APG  Not sure if its worth arguing with CS as they always spout rubbish about online and instore prices being different and there was no multibuy on the SELMaybe I'll leave it until tomorrow and just tell them I thought they were included in the offer
Edit: I'd also like to add that the Dettol wipes are £3 on MSL but only £2 instore so if bought on a click and collect they will compare at £3 v £1.50 for Waities and Tosco, making them net cost 35p0 -
I am really annoyed with Sainsburys brand match.
I don't know if the below is legible but here it is anyway.
I did my £20 shop yesterday which was a sainsbobs v sada shop and I got meatballs, Pepsi and Nestle Cookies which were all cheaper in Sada so by my reckoning I should have got a BM of £4.55 but the BM I got was £3.45
So I checked to see what had happened via their website.
I also bought Mccain chips which are the same price ion both stores 2 for £3. But in Sada the multi buy only saves 70p and in sainsbobs the multibuy saves £1.80 so they take that into account even though the individual price is £1.50 in real terms.
So sneaky - this is where Ive lost my £1.10:mad:
I really ought to take some items back but all of the items were needed.
The moral of the tale is don't buy anything in sainsbobs that matches someone elses multi buy
1 Scan Original Swedish Meatballs 350G £1.99 £1.50
2 Mccain Home Chips Straight Cut 1Kg £4.80 £3.00
Multibuy?
£3.70 £3.00
Multibuy?
1 Nestl! Cookie Crisp Brownie 320G £2.00 £1.00
1 Js Maris Piper Potatoes 2.5Kg Mu £2.39 Non-comparable
2 Pepsi Max 2 Litre Mu £3.96 £2.00
Your receipt total was: £21.47 N/A
Spend on comparable branded products
(before deductions): £12.75 £8.20
Deductions (from multibuys): −£1.80 −£0.70
Total spend on comparable branded goods: £10.95 £7.50
The difference was: £3.45
Coupon Issued £3.45
Meatballs. 49p
Nestle £1
Pepsi £1.96
Total £3.45
Why did you expect £4.55 from these? The mccain didnt make a bit of difference as £3.45 was the differenceApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I was like :EasterBun at the fried bread
Apparently fried bread is less carb-y than toast or normal bread :beer:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
