Hello strangers :o not been around much lately apart from a couple of odd lurks now and again as RL has been so difficult lately :( Been dealing with relatives who have had health issues (fortunately they are sorted now) and then it was OH's turn :(:( He had been to GP before christmas with a pain in his leg and was referred for a scan as a DVT was suspected. Turned out they gave him the wrong sort of scan at the hospital and he was subsequently treated for arthritis :(:(:(

He was admitted to hospital just over two weeks ago with a 9" blood clot in his knee and no pulse in his foot which was blue and stone cold. The hospital pulled out all the stops as they also found two more clots in the main artery:eek: He was put on a clot busting drip and has since had a bypass of the artery. He was probably a day or so from losing his foot or even worse, his leg. He has made a good recovery and came home a couple of days ago and is obviously a very lucky man.

Meanwhile I am worn out and look a fright and haven't done any glitchy shopping or bargain hunting for what seems like ages. Thank goodness my cupboards & freezer were well stocked - and thanks to all the Elite peeps who have helped me fill 'em.

They were my life saver on so many occasions. :):T

£48.96 voucher. I have to admit, I would be crapping myself trying to use a voucher that high.
