Do bear in mind that most private lets either ask for a) a bond, b) a months rent in advance, or c) both of the above. Not sure about young Scamps' financial situation so unsure if he would be able to afford it.
Also do check the local housing allowance. If the rent is say £90 and you are only entitled to £55, will you be able to afford the excess?
I won't go on and on, but if you want to pm me, you are more than welcome to.
PS. How is everyone? Is there anything glitching at Sada? Sorry I am being lazy, I have about 50 pages to read! I'm off shopping with Mom tomorrow. Such fun.0 -

Just read back a few pages. Scamps, if you are a single gent in a 3 bedroomed property, surely they should bang you into the highest band (if they haven't already!). In my local authority, if you have 2 spare bedrooms in a council property, they give you the highest banding so you can choose to move into whichever 1 bedroomed property you want and be allocated it. That way, they get another 3 bedroomed property on their stock list.
If they don't have any 1 bedroomed properties available, harrass them, managers are "allowed" to direct let some properties without advertising them to all the other customers.......0 -

you will need more items, minimum of 8/9 dont forget the ww and the fairy, ww and panthers will not count towards your 8/9 items. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Purpledonkey, hope things are ok, ((hugs))
Thanks, I will gladly accept hugs, even from Dotty and his wandering hands, but actually I need a high five - just scored myself a two month job on a film going back and forth from London to YorkshireI've had to drop out of Ideal Home though but I'm hoping to work there on my days off (as soon as I know them!).
Sounds like you could do with a hug though, so here's one with pandas.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
