After some advice, needing new carpets, we were thinking a darker beige/brown colour, but friends said we should have a lighter colour as dont show the bits up, what do you all suggest???

I recommend getting one with a speckle in it. Mainly dark brown with little specks of white, looks much nicer than it sounds.

I agree that a sold colour shows up the bits more.

    From a womble today v S/bobs
1 x Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Freedom Breast Pump£20.00£12.49

My biggest womble by far £7.94

    Yay

Someone had a womble some years ago return about £24:rotfl: - and it was one of those Tommee Tippees that mainly contributed to that amount, also vs Sainsbobs at the time I recall.

We have a berber in the dining room, stairs and landing. It is ostensibly light with dark speckles. It seriously needs washing but you don't notice until you move the doormat! It is also very hard wearing.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
