Well what an afternoon I have had ,
last week I managed to buy some I pad covers reduced to 10 pounds
but as amazon wont let me join for some reason it rejects me ( typical really )
I decided was safer to take them back within the time limit for returns
    (coward that I am )
more back bone in a tin of cornedbeef than I have )
    So I have original receipts
original goods no damage etc etc
well you think I had pinched them
SA I NEED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER and takes my receipts and I pad covers into the office

    I ask why ?
she said as you have 3 receipts
I have to have managers authorisation
    MMMMmmmmmm
20 minutes later she was still keep popping her head round the corner
and any chance I got to ask her she just bolted in to the back
    grrrrrr
So I ask other sa to ask the other sa
how long she expected me to wait
she comes back and says 5 mins
    ok that's fine
15 mins later I ask again
now another obviously more senior sa
    comes to me and says
you should never have been sold these
we honoured the £10 mis price but no one should have let you walk out of store with them
I reminded her that I did pay for them
and pointed to the 30 day money back guarantee
yes well they have went back up to £59 each
and you only paid 10 well yes but I am only asking for a refund of 10
    as you have the receipts
its not like I came in without receipts
    £9-99 to be precise
Well yes but my manager has to get onto head office as we will be that amount down on our sales today
and bang goes any profit we made
I pointed out again that I was returning them at £9-99
and they were now priced at £59-00
I make that a profit you will be making
    off she goes again
I am now starting to lose control
I ask another sa to get the manager to come out
I would like to speak to him
    then original sa turns up
and very naughty in attitude to me
    finally refunds my money
but as as I had bought them in two different stores that I must return the others to the store I purchased them from
by this time I was spitting feathers
    quietly inwardly though
so I ask for my original receipt back
    NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO Waaaaay she says
I said I wanted it back
but oh no you can not have it back
grrrrrrrrrrr I ask her again she says she will ask manager
comes back again says manager says its their receipt Now
    as it has been refunded
I just turned and walked away couldn't be bothered to stay
another minute am sure a thief caught shop lifting
would have been better treat than I was
    SO TWO QUESTIONS
    1) Should they have given me my receipt back
    2) does anyone want to buy a cheaper than argos I pad :)

my product arrived on saturday...im a dark blonde....email questionaire came through this morning.

The package was too large to fit through my standard letterbox so I had to collect it yesterday with a red card and use almost straight away.

You dont normally get the emails before the trial product...I think that was a blip when the email went out previously for the shampoo/conditioner trials before the packages.

    Mine arrived Saturday too.
The email states that the parcel should arrive on 1st march so they know exactly when it should be delivered.hth

    Good afternoon everyone :)
Lovely day here, was at work this morning, then a nice catch-up with a friend this pm.
Picked up my T's C&C order on the way home from work, just a 'normal' shop (haven't done any burgers etc yet, will probably decide to join in on the day it stops working ;) I do love going to the C&C drive-through and having all my shopping loaded up in a couple of minutes without having to go instore :T I notice they have now extended the free C&C until some time in April at my store :T

I have had a quick look back, and there was talk of an M&S monthly saver plan (I think it was mhoc?). Have clicked on the link but it seems to be just for people who pay the £10 p/m service charge for the current account - is this right?
    http://bank.marksandspencer.com/banking/current-account/overview/#monthly-saver
Thanks for any advice, I could do with switching my monthly savings from the lower-than-low interest rate we get at the moment, but don't want to pay £10 per month for the privilege. TIA xx
