    I found a good DTD.

Tosco 3 for £6 that includes cereals, coffees and teas.

Till doesn't pick up the offer, so DTD.

    I had 2 x all bran red berry crunch, 1 x oatabix flakes came to £8.47, overcharge £2.47, DTD = £4.94, total actually paid was £8.47-£4.94=£3. 53.

    Less PP:

    1x
    WEETABIX OATIFLAKES WITH FRUIT 475G
    £2.69 £2.18 £2.00 n/a

    2x
KELLOGGS ALL BRAN CRUNCH BERRY 340G
    £5.78 £5.76 £5.78 £5.70

against Sainsbob of £0.69. Net cost £3.53-69p=£2.84 for 3 branded cereals.

Oooh I was only talking about these all bran berry crunch things earlier. I saw the offer when in Tesco s earlier and thought oh I could get 3 packs for £6 but didn t bother at the time as I was in the middle of 2 hh shops. I ll have to try that tomorrow but don t suppose 3 of the all bran would work.

It's all a gamble, nothing more, nothing less ;-

    Have a look here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/premium-bonds-calculator/

When you gamble you risk losing your money.

That can never happen with premium bonds.

So it's not a gamble at all.

Government bonds pay a better return than premium bonds ( unless your lucky enough to win), and will help offset the cash value erosion, due to inflation.

The government has never defaulted....yet

I bought £2.5k worth with some redundancy money a few years back...I won 2 x £25 in January and usually win about 4 to 6 times a year of the £25 prizes...I won £1000 one month a couple of year back!

i see a it as bit of fun rather than a big investment with a chance of possible big win!:D

if you looks at the winners in my and zippys earlier post, you can win big even with a small investment, it's just luck of the draw!;)

Not so, It's a gamble......The deposit you make today will not be worth the same in 1/2/5 years as inflation will have eroded it's true value, therefore you will have lost and gambled against putting into some kind of savings paying a fixed amount.

Happy birthday to Snap and VT _party_ _party_ _party_
Hope you've both had a lovely day :D

Managed to do a bit of a coupon shop today. Had a £4 off £30 and some other coupons, got it down to £16 odd and £9.50 back. So was happy enough with that :D
Dr O coupons wouldn't scan but were put through as non scan with no problems so that was a nice change! :rotfl:
