You could go and try this one out if you want............

I have just picked up the previous persons receipt on Self Scan, not enought items to put into price guarantee though:(

    But something of interest;)

they had bought 3x naan bread 4x tilda rice and 1x poppadums, on the bottom of the receipt there is a multibuy of sharwoods 2 for £2 x 2 Multibuy savings, this multibuy IS NOT showing on MSM and the sharwoods are on offer at Sainbobs 3 for £4...

So, my theory is, buy 6 Sharwood items, pay £6 then the APG (SHOULD) compare at 6x 1.79 (for poppadoms) £10.68 v £8

Can anyone else see anything better for this ?

If you try this note that not all poppadoms are comparing (plain NA against all supermarkets in Msl and Msm for me).

Multis have reappeared on Sharwoods and Cokes - it was one of those reloading episodes :(. Both Msl and Msm.

I've been labelling up my dried chilli collection (no, that is not a euphemism ... far too early for things like that:p)

(apologies in advance for the waffle that is to follow...)
I got them in Mexico last year, and I'm hoping that the friends I stayed with then will be visiting the UK later this year. One was planning her wedding (I was invited to come back for the wedding but didn't due to lack of funds, but I sooo wish I had done) and told hubbie-to-be in not so many words, "Yes, we'll have a baby but only if I can visit the UK first" - girl power:D
The mum of the family was a brilliant cook (proper traditional Mexican food, not like the TexMex rubbish we tend to get in this country), and she saw it as her mission to see I was well fed. (Like mums all over the world.)
As gifts I took some Yorkshire Tea with me, bottles of beer, and some parkin too - mum wanted to know how to make it, which took a bit of doing as her English was non-existent and my Spanish was a bit rusty.
On the last night as a thank-you we made the whole family a traditional roast dinner - chicken, roast taties, Yorkshire pudding (the family was fascinated by that!) and gravy, and apple crumble and custard for afters.
    Aaah, happy memories:)

  • SSM,
I hope that hubbie appreciated the humour of the t-shirt?:)
I did tell the factory to express-deliver it, so it should have arrived by now:wink:
